Sylvain Daigle – Brand Director
With over 30 years of experience in the retail landscape, the last 16 in the Pool and Spa industry, I have developed the skills needed to help you out with your business in sales, marketing and merchandising. I have also been responsible in the past for managing brands both national and private labeled. Understanding the difference between brands is important in a buying group made of multiple brands.
When I’m not on the road or in the office helping a member out, I can be found in my backyard cooking on my three grills and smoker and yes, even in the winter. I’ve developed a passion for cooking good food and enjoying good wine, of course, all responsibly.

Scott Harper - Digital Director
With over 27 years of experience in the swimming pool industry, my knowledge has allowed me to perform many tasks from retail management for one of Canada’s largest swimming pool dealers to corporate marketing, event coordination and IT services.
Coming from a family of artists and craftsman, I have developed a passion to create and a strong attention to detail. When not in the office providing operation and IT support, I maintain a busy hobby-oriented personal life, including computers, electronics, 3D design, 3D printing, photography, woodworking, and tabletop gaming.
Adam Pizzacalla – Operations Coordinator
In my nine years of experience in the pool and spa industry, I have participated in every aspect of a retail business including cash, customer service, sales, stock, shipping and receiving and forklift operating. I have also worked a lot with inputting, recording and acquiring data for things such as purchase orders, pricing, pool and spa products and marketing brochures and documents. In the future, I plan to become bilingual and expand my skills and experience into the marketing section of the industry as well.
Ron Baluch - President
With a degree from McGill University, and my unique marketing and promotions experience gained through working in radio and the bar industry, I joined the pool and spa industry in 1992 as owner of a Pool & Spa retail store called Sensational Spas in Montreal. Over the years as VP Sales and Marketing for several of Canada’s top hot tub manufacturers and as a LeisureScapes store owner, I was able to earn deep insight into what it takes to create a great pool and spa retail experience.
Today, as President of The International Pool Group, I work passionately to inspire business owners to reinvigorate their businesses and meet the ever-changing needs of modern consumers. I am committed to working with both members and our supplier partners on creative ways to move our group and our industry forward.
Family, water skiing, laughter and music are some of the things from which I derives inspiration, and I am always available to discuss new ideas.
